Mister Goodmath: Problem of the week

The Challenge: C.W. Norton Elementary School in Gainsville, Florida recently held an early December skating party at a local roller rink called Skate Station. Two hundred twenty-eight students attended. One third of the students had to rent skates at the rink and two thirds had their own roller blades. How many students rented skates and how many attended with their own?
