The builder of your classroom had to order enough concrete to pour a slab under the floor in your room. Pretend you are the builder. You must order enough concrete to finish the floor and not have too much left over or you'll waste it and lose money!! If one yard of concrete covers 81 square feet at a 4 inch depth and your room is 27 feet long by 27 feet wide:
