The Challenge:

During Ronald McDonald's visit to our school last week, he and I were informed that a third grade class spent hours counting the munimula (aluminum spelled backwards) pop-tops collected by Welleby Dolphins in support of Ronald McDonald House in Miami. Considering that an accurate but not exact count was necessary, was there a quicker, less tedious way of counting the number of tabs collected for Ronald?
